Wishes Granted in 2025

 

♥ Christopher – His wish was to take his son and mom to Disneyland.  They had an amazing time and especially loved anything related to Star Wars.  Our thanks to  Get Away Today, Karmel Shuttle, and Select Scooter Rental for helping us with this wish!  This is a note from the family:  “Words cannot express how thankful we are to Wish Granters for making this happen. The memories will be with us forever.”

♥ Dennis- His wish was for a guided fishing trip on the Salmon River with his brother. The two brothers had an absolutely amazing time and took home three huge steelheads! We want to give a huge thanks to Roy Akins at Rapid River Outfitters for stepping up to the plate to grant Dennis’s wish, and to the Idaho Outfitters and Guides Association for getting us in touch with him. The brothers said Roy was a wonderful guide with so much knowledge. We also want to thank Scheels for the gift card donation so Dennis & Kirt could have warm clothes for the trip. Last but not least, we want to thank Salmon Rapids Lodge for donating lodging. This wish took a village of support, and we are so grateful for such a generous group of people and businesses! Dennis and his brother made memories to last a lifetime.

♥ Karen- Her wish was to go to Disneyland with her husband, daughters, and grandchildren. Karen said they had so much fun and offered this thanks: “We are forever grateful for this organization, seriously you don’t even know. We love Idaho Wishgranters.” Our thanks to Get Away Today for their help in granting Karen’s wish!

♥ Bill- His wish was to have a new washer and dryer for his wife, so she won’t have to worry about these essentials after he is gone. Both Bill and his wife were thrilled with the new appliances! We want to give a BIG thank you to The Home Depot in Nampa and to The Home Depot Foundation for generously sponsoring Bill’s wish. The Home Depot in Nampa is also organizing a group of volunteers/employees to beautify Bill’s yard this Spring. We are so thankful for their generosity and excited for Bill and his wife to enjoy it! 

♥ Stephanie – Her wish was to dine at one of Gordon Ramsay’s Hell’s Kitchen restaurants with her family. We couldn’t have been more excited for her – what a fun wish! Eating together as a family has always been important to Stephanie, and sharing meals together became even more significant, but difficult, after the unexpected passing of her daughter. This special trip was not only an opportunity to enjoy an amazing meal together, but also a way to honor her daughter’s memory and preserve cherished family traditions with her sons and sisters.   We want to give a HUGE thank you to Harrah’s Resort Southern California for donating the meal, as well as to Gordon Ramsay himself for recording a personalized video message for Stephanie!! That truly made the evening unforgettable.  We also want to share some special words from Stephanie after the trip:  “I have no words to truly thank you all for making this happen, it was such a beautiful experience […]. It was such a great memory that my family and I will never forget, it was so nice for us all to get together and just laugh […], it gave us all a chance to forget about the cancer for a bit and just have love and joy. […] We could never THANK YOU enough, this was truly special to us in so many ways, from my entire family and I thank you. You all are amazing people and we appreciate everything you do.”

Wishes Granted in 2024

Andrea – Her wish was to take her three sons to Hawaii.  She said that they had an amazing time and created priceless memories.  Our thanks to Island Breeze Luau for their help in making Andrea’s wish come true.  This is a note from Andrea: “I wanted to thank you from the bottom of my heart for granting this wish for us to visit this island. During our stay here, I was informed that Kona and other Hawaiian islands revolve around the spiritual concept of mana, which is the life force energy that flows through all living things. The islands are believed to be infused with mana, which is creating a sacred space where healing and transformation can occur. Our stay here on the island was very much healing, and the memories that were created were priceless. The boys and I had  a wonderful time snorkeling, seeing the sea turtles, and just exploring all parts of the island, from rainbow falls to Hawaiian national volcano park. This will be something that will be remembered forever, and I thank you so much for giving us the opportunity to create these wonderful memories. Thank you again to Wish Granters and everyone who has helped with our trip.” 

Dorothy (Dottie) – Her wish was to have her hot water heater fixed.  Our thanks to Diamond Heating & Cooling for making Dottie’s wish come true!  This is a note from Dottie’s social worker:  “I spoke with Dorothy’s daughter today and she told me that Wish Granters helped to send an electrician to the home who found the issue with the hot water heater and got it fixed. They now have hot water in their home.  I cannot thank you enough for all your help! You are all true angels!!”

Margie – Her wish was to have her home cleaned so that her last days could be spent enjoying her family and not worrying about her home.  She was absolutely delighted with the deep cleaning her home received.  Our thanks to Kristy from Sawtooth Home Services for making Margie’s wish come true.

Tony – His wish was for thumbprint pendants for his two sons and a ring for his Mom.  While he passed away before the wish could be completed, we were still able to order these special keepsakes for his family.  His Mom gave her thanks and said they will have these forever as a remembrance of Tony.  Our thanks to Thumbies for their help in making this wish come true.

Christhian – His wish was for a Walmart shopping spree to help his mother as she cares for him. Unfortunately, Christhian passed away before it could happen, but we still completed the wish. His mom, daughter, and grandma were so appreciative that Christhian’s final wish came true.

Jean – Her wish was to have her bathroom remodeled so that she could safely shower at home again. Jean is so excited that the project is complete! Since her favorite color is purple, one of our board members even bought her purple towels to put in the completed bathroom. Our thanks go out to John at Drake Mechanical, Jesse and Steve at Custom Bath Solutions, Michael at Valley Glass, and Troy at Optimum Plumbing for their help in making Jean’s wish come true.

Rich – His wish was for a trip with his wife to Henderson, NV, to visit family.  Rich and his wife had an absolutely amazing trip and were so thankful for this time with family.

Dee – Her wish was for new flooring in her mobile home. She was absolutely speechless when she walked into her home and saw the new flooring. She was so pleased with the results. Our thanks to Tony’s Floor Covering and RC Willey for making Dee’s wish come true!

Hannah – Her wish was to go to Dallas with her husband and son to visit family. They had a wonderful time; and spending time with her three year old granddaughter was a highlight of the trip! 

Jeff – His wish was to bring his daughter and family here from Mississippi so he could spend time with them and meet his great grandson for the first time – so special! This is the message we got from his daughter after the trip: “We had the most amazing visit, and we are so thankful to Wish Granters for making my dad’s wish (and mine) of having all of his family come out to see him before he passes. Liam had the best time meeting his great grandpa. The week was perfect […] We would like to thank everyone again for making this possible for our family.”

Deborah – Her wish was to go to Pacific Grove, CA with her daughter and grandchildren. She specifically chose Pacific Grove because that’s where she spread her husband’s ashes several years ago and because sitting by the ocean brings her peace. This is a thank you from Deborah: “There are no words that can express my gratitude and joy to have my final wish granted. Thank you to everyone at Wish Granters and everyone who has donated to this wonderful charity. May God give you all special blessings in your lives, as He has in mine.” Our thanks to Paul & June Bromley for their assistance in helping with lodging for Deborah and her family.

Larry – His wish was to go to Phoenix, Arizona, with his children to visit family. Unfortunately his health declined while on the trip, but thankfully he was able to spend his final days surrounded by people who loved him dearly.

Susan – Her wish was for new vinyl flooring in her kitchen and bathroom to leave her home in good shape for her children. She was so delighted with the result and said the floors are beautiful! She said it just makes her feel good to look at them. Our thanks to Nampa Floors and Interiors for making this wish happen. They did the job as a team building exercise and were so excited to make Susan’s wish come true.

Tim – His wish was to go to Hawaii with his wife, son, and future daughter-in-law.  This is what his wife said after the trip:  “I can’t tell you what an amazing gift it was to our whole family. The one on one time with no worries was a welcome change.”  Our thanks to Alisha and Rob Palmer for her generosity in helping this wish happen.  

Mike – His wish was for a new swing set in his daughter’s backyard so he could enjoy watching his grandchildren play.  This is what the family said: “Thank you so much for everything you have done. You helped make my Dad’s dream of a great back yard come true. The girls can’t get enough of their new play set! We want to thank you again and everyone who helped make my Dad’s wish come true.” A big thank you to Tates Rents, Black Horn Concrete, Schiebout Contracting, and Lifetime Outlet for helping to make Mike’s wish happen!

Terry – His wish was for new sod in his backyard so he could enjoy time outside with his family. Our thanks to Swan Falls Sod Farm and Klay Maxwell and sons for their help in making Terry’s wish come true.

Dan – His wish was to receive new flooring in one room of his house. Our thanks to Meridian Flooring Covering and Chris Fenton for their help in making Dan’s wish come true. Dan and his wife are so happy with their new floors!

Curtis – His wish was to go to the Anniversary Inn and stay in the Capitol Room with his wife as this is where they stayed on their honeymoon several years ago. They also were able to go to Texas Roadhouse for a lovely meal before their evening at the Anniversary Inn. Curtis said they had an absolutely wonderful time. Our thanks to both the Anniversary Inn and Texas Roadhouse for making his wish come true!

Antonio – His wish was for help with a planned trip to Utah. We were able to provide him with a gift card to assist with his expenses.

Shelia – Her wish was to go to Hawaii with her three children. The family had so much fun together and made priceless memories. A note from Shelia: “The trip was wonderful! Zip lining was a blast! We were so high all I could do was laugh and scream at the same time hahaha. Thank you to everyone who made this experience possible, I am truly grateful.” Our thanks to The Umauma Experience for making the zip lining possible; and our thanks to Airbnb hosts Jackie and Bryan for their part in making Shelia’s wish come true.

Jamie – Her wish was to go to Anchorage, Alaska, with her two sons and tour the Alaska Wildlife Conservation Center. They were also able to take a glacier tour and see three different types of whale species and so much more. These are her comments about the trip: “It was so unbelievable and exciting!! My sons and I can’t really express in words how much we appreciated this trip and how much fun we had!!!!! Thank you so much for this opportunity and gift you provided my family!!” Our thanks to Mike & Deanna James and to the Alaska Wildlife Conservation Center for their help in making Jamie’s wish come true.

Stephanie – Her wish was to have the dream wedding that she and her husband never got to have. Unfortunately, Stephanie passed away before her wish could be completed, but thanks to the Idaho Event Professionals,  Stephanie’s friends and family were still able to get together and have a Celebration of Life for her. She was loved by many, and we are thankful that so many people were able to get together and celebrate her.

Ashley – Her wish was to have a wood stove installed in her living room to keep her family toasty warm.  Our thanks to Wholesale Fireplaces of Idaho and to Leisure Time Inc for making Ashley’s wish come true!

Dawn – Her wish was to go to Glacier National Park with her son and daughter-in-law.  They had an amazing time.  She said it was just beautiful and something she will always remember.  Our thanks to Sun Tours for providing a half-day Road to the Sun tour for Dawn and her family.  

Norman – His wish was to have new vanities, shower, and flooring installed in his bathroom.  He had started much of the work and had many of the materials purchased, but due to health issues, he was unable to finish it.  Our thanks to Doyle Hartman and the Veterans Association of Real Estate Professionals (VAREP) for their help in making Norman’s wish come true!

Ken – His wish was to go to Oahu’s North Shore with his wife. They had an absolutely incredible time and were so delighted to have this time together. Our thanks to the Ke Iki Beach Bungalows for the assistance they provided with lodging, and an extra special thank you to the Polynesian Cultural Center for providing an entire day of fun for Ken and Christine. A thank you from Ken: “Thank you for reflecting beauty and goodness to us and so many others.”

Jim – His wish was to go to a Dallas Cowboys game with his wife and son and meet some of the players. They had a wonderful time Our thanks to the Cowboys Experience for their help in making Jim’s wish come true!

Kayla – Her wish was to go to a Green Bay Packers game with her husband and daughter.  They had a fabulous time.  This is a note from the family:  “We had the most wonderful time!  Not sure how you all made this come together, but we couldn’t be more appreciative.  Thanks to you all.  I hope that we can repay this kindness.”  Our thanks to Brad at Discover Green Bay for his help in making the magic happen on Kayla’s wish!

Brandon – His wish was to have a hot water heater installed. He said the wish would provide for his family’s well being for many years to come and make him feel like he was contributing to the repairs needed in his home. The whole family was thrilled to finally have enough hot water. The day it was installed, everyone in the family was able to take showers! Our thanks to Colby at CR Higer Plumbing in Caldwell for donating the hot water heater and the installation.

Sally – Her wish was to go to Boston to see the sights with her husband and two sons in order to have one last trip as a family.  They had a wonderful time together.  Her husband said, “Thank you again for everything – it was a memory we will have forever.”  We want to thank Kari Taylor and Cambria Hotel Boston, Downtown-South Boston for supporting this wish! 

Louise – Her wish was for a new recliner. Due to back issues, she can’t sleep in her bed, so she needed a comfortable chair to spend her days and nights in. Her daughter told us that Louise was absolutely delighted with the new chair and said she just loved it! Our thanks to Norco for their help in making Louise’s wish come true.

Valerie – Her wish was to go to Hawaii with her daughter to create memories and strengthen their relationship.  They both said they had an amazing time!  Our thanks to the Waikiki Malia for donating a stay for Valerie and  her daughter!

Charlene (Charli) – Her wish was to go to Disneyland with her daughter and family. Her sister also joined them on their adventure! They had good times together as a family and were so appreciative that they could spend this time together. Our thanks to Get Away Today, Select Scooter Rental, and Karmel Shuttle for their help in making Charli’s wish come true!

Cory – His wish was for an under-desk elliptical leg exerciser to help him exercise his leg muscles and increase blood flow. He loved it and was so honored to have received it. This is a note from his family: “A special thank you to the Wish Granters for your efforts to honor Cory in his last days. We appreciate your efforts to determine what he might want or need. We all are grateful that he was recognized. Your kindness will always be remembered.”

Lisa – Her wish was for a hot tub to help with pain and improve her quality of life; she thought it would also be fun to enjoy it with her grandkids! Lisa was so delighted with the hot tub and couldn’t wait to use it to ease those aches and pains. This wish was made possible by the extreme generosity of Love’s Hot Tubs and Diamond Heating, Cooling, Plumbing & Electric.

Erlinda – Her wish was for a Disney vacation with her husband! We are so happy we could assist them with this, and we want to thank Florida Mobility Rentals for their assistance as well. The pictures from their trip are so fun, and you can tell by Erlinda’s smile that she enjoyed herself. She told us that they had a fabulous time, and she shared this: “Thank you so much for the wonderful trip you created for me.”

Angela – Her wish was to have a countertop oven installed in her kitchen, which also required some cabinetry work. Our thanks to Pat Fannin, Brent Stone at Arcadia Cabinets, Tucker Modler, and Jake Olsen for their help in making Angela’s wish come true! Angela was absolutely delighted and said “I just want to tell you how beautiful it is and how much I appreciate you. Thank you so much for everything you did. God bless you.”

Gerda – As a child, Gerda survived Nazi Germany and immigrated to the United States as soon as she was able. Her wish was to preserve her life story before she passes. Our thanks to Hearing our Heritage and to the Knebel family for granting Gerda’s wish. She was so excited the day of the wish, and everyone in attendance found her story to be interesting and inspiring. 

Cherie – Her wish was to have all of her family together for a few days after Christmas.  She had never had the entire family together at one time, so it was a dream come true.  We were able to provide an Airbnb for the out-of-town family, and due to generous donations from the Boise Co-Op and an anonymous donor, we were able to provide a Co-Op gift certificate and some spending money to help the family with meals while they were all together.  

Wishes Granted in 2023

Kathleen (Kathy) – Her wish was to take her grandson to Build-a-Bear.  Because she was too sick to go along, her grandson went with his parents.  He picked out two bears.  The green frog is named “ Hero” as that is grandma’s bear, and it is dressed in a superhero outfit. They were able to record her voice saying “I love you” and it was put in the frog. Because she is his hero, that’s how the name came about, plus green is her favorite color. His other bear he put in a military outfit, and he named it “Reese.”  Such a simple yet beautiful wish.

Reid – His wish was to go to Hawaii with his daughters. They said it was a great trip.  It rained like crazy, but it was still fun!  Many thanks to Reid’s co-workers at PayneWest Insurance and to Hilton Waikoloa Village for making Reid’s wish come true and allowing him to make cherished memories with his daughters.  

Ron – His wish was to have reels of film transferred to DVD from his years of service in the Navy,  so he could share with his family.  Many thanks to Roots Family History for their help in granting this wish.

Justin –His wish was to go to Disneyland with his wife and daughter. They said their trip was magical and a lifetime of memories were made. This is what Justin’s wife told us: “This trip has meant everything to my family. Saying thank you does not seem like enough. I will be reaching out soon to donate towards the next family in line to go to Disneyland.” Our thanks to Get Away Today, TNT Tours & Shuttle, and Karmel Shuttle for helping make this wish possible.

Ed His wish was to have his daughter and son come for a visit and have a special dinner out with them as a family.  Many thanks to Chandler’s for hosting the family for dinner.  Ed was so thankful and said they had a memorable time.  

Jessica Her wish was to have an adult electric trike to make it easier for her to get around.  When the trike was delivered, Jessica was ecstatic!  Thank you to George’s Cycles for helping make this wish come true! 

Tom – His wish was for new windows so that his wife could be warmer in their home. Tom and his wife were thrilled with the new windows. Many thanks to Window World for their help in granting this wish (this is the SECOND time Window World has helped make a wish come true).

Cathy – Her wish was for a lift chair so she could get up easier. Cathy said it’s perfect!  Many thanks to Norco for donating this chair and making Cathy’s wish come true.   

Betty – Her wish was to have a lift/sleep chair.  Her daughter said she slept so well in the chair!  Many thanks to Mobility City for helping to make this wish come true.  

Anonymous Recipient – This wish was to go to Disneyland with family members. Many thanks to Get Away Today and Karmel Shuttle for helping make this wish possible.

David – His wish was to have a BBQ on Father’s Day for family and friends.  Unfortunately David passed shortly before it could happen, but we went ahead and had the celebration of his life for his family and friends.  Many thanks to Idaho Pizza Company, Abbott BBQ, and Bouncin Bins Idaho for helping make this wish possible.  Also, a special thanks to the Gem County Chamber of Commerce for their help in coordinating the wish.  

Ted – His wish was to have a lift chair so he could be more comfortable.  Many thanks to RC Willey for their help in making this wish possible.  

John – His wish was to go to the Oregon Coast with his family.  This was a note from John’s sister:  “I want to thank you very much for your help in getting our family to the Oregon Coast.  It was a special time that none of us will forget to have the time with our brother.”

Kate – Her wish was to go to the Oregon Coast with her family.  They had an absolutely amazing time!  Many thanks to Happy Camp Hideaway (Netarts Bay, Oregon) and Fairfield Inn by Marriott (Dalles, Oregon) for their help in making this wish come true.  And a special thanks to Kimberly Mclain at Kreative Memories for capturing photos of their family vacation.  

Geni- Her wish was to have her carpet cleaned.  Many thanks to Stanley Steemer in Meridian for making this wish come true.

Robin – His wish was to have a new back yard, including a sprinkler system, sod, and gravel. He and his wife were absolutely delighted with the result. Many thanks to Absolute Irrigation, Ruschman Sand & Gravel, McKellip Sod Farm, and all of our volunteers for making this happen.

Steve – His wish was to go to the rodeo with his family. Thank you so much to Snake River Stampede for donating dinner and rodeo tickets! They had a blast.

Jenny – Her wish was to go to Huntington Beach with her husband and two young children. The family had an absolutely amazing time and made so many memories. Our thanks to The Waterfront Beach Resort, a Hilton Hotel, for their help in providing lodging for the family; they went above and beyond by providing an ocean front room AND a cabana at the pool. Also thanks to AA Car Rental for not only donating a car for the family to use but also providing car seats for the kids.

Larry – His wish was to have a walk-in shower installed in his home so he could bathe safer and easier. He says he loves it! We want to give a huge thanks to Mode Remodel, Gatsby Glass, Glaz-Tech Industries, and VAREP – Treasure Valley, ID Chapter (Veteran’s Association of Real Estate Professionals) for their help in making Larry’s wish come true! We appreciate the support and amazing work that went into this wish.

Mike – His wish to have new skirting put on his mobile home has come true. He said “Looks amazing! No gaps for critters at all. Thanks for everything. Wish granted!” Thanks to Continental Supply Northwest who donated the skirting and delivery and to Daniel Kangas who donated installation.

Sandy – Her wish was to go to San Luis Obispo, CA, to visit her kids and grandkids.  

Shawn – Her wish was to have a camp trailer to make memories with her family.  She cried when finding out the trailer was really going to be hers and then immediately started making plans for a weekend camping trip with her kids.

Robert – His wish was to have his son fly to Boise to visit him and help him move to Kansas to be close to family.  The family was so excited that Wish Granters could help make this happen.

Brent- His wish was to have new carpeting installed in his home to give him and his wife peace of mind.  Our thanks go out to Dillabaugh’s Flooring America for donating both the carpet and the installation; to Boise Box for donating the use of a storage container while the installation was being completed; and to our many volunteers who helped move furniture both out of the home and back in.  

Art – His wish was for a bike trip on the Hiawatha trail. This was a trip he had planned with his wife, but she passed away before it could happen. He carried her picture with him on this adventure ,and he had a great time. Thank you to the Wallace Inn in Wallace, ID, and to the staff at the Hiawatha Trail who peddled him on the trail in a Blessing Bike.

Robert – His wish was to go to Disneyworld with his two children, son-in-law, and his granddaughter on her 11th birthday. This is a note from Robert: “I was afforded a unique opportunity to leave my family a remarkable, photo-filled memory and expression of love to remember ‘Grandpa.’”

Emilie – Her wish was to go to the Oregon Coast with her family.  She said she had fun and that it was a great experience. Her best friend, who she hadn’t seen in years, also surprised her with a visit while they were there. 

Kendra her wish was for a bike to go bike packing, and she absolutely loves it. In fact, she was in tears when she found out that the bike was on its way. Thanks to Meridian Cycles for helping to make this happen.

Colleen – Her wish was for a ramp into her house. Colleen and her family were thrilled to have it and even made cookies for the installation crew. A big thank you to Amramp for donating the materials and the installation.

JennyHer wish was to go to Hawaii with her brother and her son.  They had an absolutely incredible time.  

Ted – His wish was to have his side yard cleaned up and the “zen” theme of the backyard carried over to that area. Ted passed before the wish could be completed, but we still worked on it for his wife and family.  The side yard was cleaned out and mulch and rocks were added.  Then the family decided  to complete the rest of the work on their own. Ted’s wife said doing the landscaping was very therapeutic for her.  Our thanks to Flourish LLC and Canyon Hardscape for their help in making this wish happen.

Cliff – His wish was to go to the Sun Valley Jazz Festival with his granddaughter.  Cliff and his late wife used to go to the festival, so this was a trip down memory lane for Cliff.  Both Cliff and his granddaughter had an absolutely amazing time.  Our thanks to the Sun Valley Jazz Festival and to the Best Western Tyrolean Lodge for helping to make this wish happen.  

Elaine – Her wish was to go to Disneyland with her nieces and great nieces.  They said they had a magical time!  Our thanks to Get Away Today and Karmel Shuttle for helping us make Elaine’s wish come true.  

Dawn – Her wish was to go to a San Francisco 49ers game in Levi Stadium with her family. They had an absolutely amazing time and the 49ers won! Our thanks to Ticketmaster for their persistence in finding seats for us and to the Hilton Santa Clara for helping us make this wish come true. This is a note from the family: “Thank you all again so much for this opportunity. We are forever grateful for the memories we made together as a family, we will remember them forever.”

Darla – Her wish was to have an adjustable bed so she could be more comfortable and sleep with her husband again.  She loves the bed and is sleeping so well on it.  Our thanks to Denver Mattress for their help in making Darla’s wish come true.

Serpil – Her wish was to go to Hawaii with her husband and three sons.  Her husband said that they all had an absolute blast. This is a thank you from the family: “”Thank you so very much! The memories you allowed us to create together in Hawaii was a true blessing. We wanted to share how happy you all have made Serpil and our family. Thank you for the enormous generosity and all the hard work to all involved! We are re-energized and fulfilled, and our hearts warmed and feel strength for the future.”  Our thanks to Chief’s Luau, Elite Parking, and SIXT Rent The Car for their generosity in helping to make Serpil’s wish come true.

Tina – Her wish was to have her driveway fixed.  Tina and her family were so happy with the results.  Our thanks to Mr. Mudd for making this wish happen!  

Bob – His wish was to have a ramp built outside his mobile home.  Bob was thrilled to be able to safely get in and out of his home.  Three different tradesmen worked on this and Lock Stock and Barrel donated the wood!  Our thanks to Lisa and her crew at Mr. Handyman for coordinating the wish. 

Elea – Her wish was for a “Staycation” at The Riverside Hotel with her husband and children. The family said they had a wonderful time. Our thanks to The Riverside Hotel, Wepa Cafe, and Luciano’s Italian Restaurant for their help in making this wish come true.

 

 

Wishes Granted in 2022

Deborah- Her wish was to go to McCall with her entire family. Deborah passed away the day before her wish was to happen, but her family was able to gather in McCall.

Joe- His wish was to have the backyard waterfall he built for his wife working again.  Joe passed away before seeing the wish completed, but he wanted it to be done for his wife, and we made that wish come true. 

Kika – Her wish was to go to Las Vegas with her family.  The family thoroughly enjoyed their time together!

Ina – Her wish was to take a trip to McCall with her family.  She also wanted to do some fishing while she was there.  Our thanks go out to the Atkinson family who took her fishing on a pontoon boat on Cascade Lake and to DoneRight Management who donated the cabin for Ina and her family.

Kelly – Her wish was to get up close and personal with elephants, and this came true at the Hogle Zoo in Salt Lake City.  Kelly got to help feed the elephants, and she and her family received a tour of the zoo as well.  Thanks to Hogle Zoo, Alpine Home Medical, and the Hampton Inn in Salt Lake for their help in making Kelly’s wish come true!

Kristy – Her wish was to have matching rings for herself and her wife.  Unfortunately, Kristy passed away before the wish could be completed, but we still got the ring Kristy had picked out and gave it to her wife.  She was ecstatic.  

Kat – Her wish was to go to Disneyland and Universal Studios with her family, but we lost her before the wish was granted.  She had wanted her family to be part of this wish and we made that happen.  Many thanks to Capri Suites Anaheim for helping us make this wish possible.

Kate – Her wish was to go to Hawaii with her family.  The family had a wonderful time and in their words made “SO many memories.” 

Ryan – His wish was to go on a trip to the Oregon Coast with his wife and dog.  While he was able to complete part of the trip, he got sick and had to come home early.  We lost him a few days after the wish.  His wife said they had a wonderful time in Newport.  Our thanks go out to The Landing in Newport, Oregon, for helping us make this wish happen.  

Melisa – Her wish was to have a working refrigerator.  Many thanks to  Nampa Appliance, TV & Mattress for helping us to make this happen!

Larry – His wish was to have a notary help  him with his will.

Jeff His wish was to go to the Oregon Coast with his wife.  They had a wonderful time in Lincoln City and we thank Sailor Jack’s for making that portion of the wish come true!  They then spent one night in Newport before heading for home.  Many thanks to The Whaler for helping out on the Newport stay.  Also our thanks to Sharon at Simply Design Studios for taking pictures on the beach of Jeff and his wife–beautiful memories preserved forever.

Scott His wish was to make amends with his ex-wife and daughters who live out of state.  They were able to travel to Idaho to see him.  Many thanks to the Hampton Inn in Meridian, Kona Grill, Bodovino, Uncle Bob’s Pizza, and  The Yard House.  

Darrin His wish was to have a new floor put in his garage. He passed before it could be finished, but we still completed it for his family. A big thank you to Hello Garage for making this wish happen.  They even put his name in the floor!

Steve His wish was to have new windows put in his house.  Many thanks to Window World of Boise for making this wish come true!  

Cassie Her wish was to travel by RV and stay in a home on the Oregon Coast with her husband, children, and grandchildren.  Thanks to Idaho RV Rental in Nampa for their help with this wish!

Louise Her wish was to to to Graceland with her son and daughter-in-law.  She has loved Elvis since she was 11 and always wanted to go to Graceland.  Many thanks to The Guest House at Graceland for helping make this wish possible.  

Sue Her wish was to have a portable hot tub to ease symptoms.  Thanks to our own Board member Caleb Barker for making this wish come true!  

Dean  His wish was to have his daughter fly in from Arizona for a visit and to host a family dinner for 20 people at their home.  Thanks to Twisted District Brew Co in Garden City for making this happen.  Not only did they donate a prime rib dinner for 20 but they also paid for the daughter’s airline ticket.  

Rowland  His wish was to attend a Steelheads Hockey game with his family.  He passed away before it could happen, but we were able to bring the family to the arena to watch the game and remember Rowland.  Thank you to Tyson Baker of Baker Auction Co. for donating the suite for the family to use at the game; and thanks to Nate Jordan and Idaho Central Arena for donating the food for the family.  

Bernie  Her wish was to have her daughter and family fly in from Florida for one last visit.  She and her family had a wonderful time together and cherished every moment.

Jerry – Wished to receive a scooter chair so he could go fishing again.

Carolyn – Wished to do a pampered day of hair and makeup then do a photo shoot for her husband before having dinner with her husband at Lock Stock & Barrel.

Susan – Wished for beautiful flowers outside her window so she can look outside and see them during the day.

Michael – Malignant Neoplasm of the Brain- Wish was to go to Disney World with his best friend.

Marilyn – Metastatic Breast Cancer- Wished for a lift chair to be able to be near her loved ones.

Judith– Atherosclerosis – Wished for an Ipad to allow her to see her family and friends on Facetime. She also loves to play games which this is also allows her to do.

Kami – A special wish was completed in June in Memory of our Wish recipient Kami. Kami’s husband and his sons fulfilled her wish. Kami wanted to learn how to fly fish, so we set up a guided fly fishing trip on a private lake.

JohnLung Cancer- Wish was to have his own independence in his own bathroom. Re-Bath of Meridian granted his wish by doing a lifted toilet and a roll in shower in his memory. Thank you Re-Bath of Meridian.

Darren – His wish was to take a fishing trip with his son and brother in Hells Canyon.  Hells Canyon Adventures made this wish possible.  

Betty – Her wish was to be with horses and other animals on a farm.  This wish was made possible by Healing Hooves.

Michael – (Colon Cancer) Michael wanted nothing more than to be home with his family to be close enough to make more memories. We were able to assist Michael, his wife, and 2 younger children move home to be with their family.

Anna – (Heart Disease) Anna is a 23 year old with Cardiomyopathy and wanted to take a trip to Disneyland with her family

Russell – (Stage 4 esophageal cancer) Russell wanted to take a trip to Crater Lake with his wife

Donald – (Congestive Heart Failure) Don is a Vietnam veteran Bird Dog pilot and wanted nothing more than to “be in the air again” and Don was able to take flight once again

Sam – (Prostate Cancer) Sam wanted to ride in the classic Italian car an Alfa Romeo once again. With help from a generous man named Max, Sam was able to go for a ride in both a 1970 Alfa Romeo Guilia Super Biscione 1600 AND 1963 Alfa Romeo Giuliette Berlina T.I.

Jerry – (Leukemia) Jerry wanted his backyard landscaping touched up for his wife. With help from some wonderful volunteers we were able to have this wish come true.

Eugena – (End Stage Renal Disease) Gena wanted a tablet to do genealogy research and connect with her family in Utah on social media. We were able to purchase a Fire HD tablet for her and deliver it to the life care facility she is living in.

Lynn – (CHF, Cardiomyopathy) Lynn was also born with a club foot and has had to have custom made boots to fit his needs. The work boots he had weighed 11 pounds total and Lynn wanted lighter weight custom boots. Thanks to Rosendahl we were able to grant Lynn’s wish.

Carrie – (Cervical Cancer) Wanted to share her story to impact someone’s life and inspire them to be screened for cancer, avoiding a late stage cancer diagnosis. With the help from Blue Chip Media we were able to complete her wish with a beautiful video to share.

Jeff  – Wished to meet Gene Simmons from the band KISS. He was not only able to meet him, but also Drummer Eric Singer. Thank you to Dennis Combs and his Co-pilot Will for flying them in the Combs plane to Burbank, California where Jeff and his wife Wendy had rockin’ good time!

Angela – (Cancer) Wished to bring her daughter and son in law from  California to stay and visit with her , we were able to purchase two airline ticket for them to both come stay and visit with Angela.

Vanessa – (Cancer) Wished for a split adjustable bed to sleep near her husband . We granted this wish with the help of Meridian Home furnishings donation of a California King split adjustable bed so Vanessa can now sleep next to her husband again.

Brent – (Cancer) Wished for a 55 inch 4k Smart Television, thanks to Best Buy discounting the Television we were able to grant Brent’s wish.

Peter – (Renal Failure) Wished to go to Jackpot, NV with his wife Mable and celebrate their 56th wedding anniversary at Cactus Pete’s Resort Casino and The Horseshu Hotel Casino. We provided some spending money & thanks to Cactus Pete’s Resort donation of two nights stay & dinner for four adults he was able to go enjoy his wish.

Laura – (Breast Cancer)  Wished to take a family trip with her husband & 9-year- old son to Universal Studios. We purchased the airfare & Universal Studio tickets ; thanks to Karmel Shuttle’s donation for transportation to/from the airport and Hilton Los Angeles Universal City’s donation of three nights stay Laura & her family were able to go to Universal Studios and have a great time.

Keith – (Cancer) Wished to have an old awning torn down and a new one built in his backyard. We purchases part of the supplies,  Home Depot donation of part of the supplies &  Skills USA Idaho donated all of the labor.

Ryan – (Brain Cancer) Wished for a gaming laptop. We were able to fulfill his wish and buy his laptop & a carrying case at a discounted rate thanks to Best Buy.

Steve – (Malignant Melanoma) Wished for a Steak Dinner from Lock Stock and Barrel. We purchased two steak dinners and delivered to him so he could enjoy a nice steak dinner with his roommate at the life care center.

Gary – (Prostate Cancer) Wished to go on a country drive and get a bite to eat.
Raymond – (Colon Cancer) Family of 4 to New York for Macy’s Day Parade.  Thank you professional Athlete Kris Gethin to help get Raymond and his family to NY & give them over 2k in spending money for the trip

Tracy – (Lung Cancer) Wished for him & his family to attend BSU game.

Sandra – (End Stage Renal disease & Heart Failure) New floor to be installed in her kitchen and bathroom , while this was in progress her heater went out -she wished for  heater instead, she was granted both the flooring and heater.

Mable – (Heart Failure) Wished for a new hearing aid.

Maria – (Heart disease) Wished to have skirting placed and  a heat lamp  around her fifth wheeler that she lives in so her pipes wouldn’t freeze.

Reva & Zee the Cat – (Cancer) Wished to have her Cat name Zee to be taken to her long term friend so he could live a life in his new home in the Boston area.
